The Game (1997)

Action, Drama, Mystery

After a wealthy banker is given an opportunity to participate in a mysterious game, his life is turned upside down when he becomes unable to distinguish between the game and reality.

7.8/10

The ending could use a little work but this is otherwise another sterling example of David Fincher's iron grip on atmosphere and storytelling.

Some of David Fincher’s finest work. In these Fincher toys with the main characters, breaking and twisting their reality until their dull lives become somewhat frivolous and fun. That is, until they begin to lose their bearings and edge closer to insanity, their lives and themselves becoming dangerous and unpredictable. Two of my all time favourites and must-sees!
